| General |
 |
Account names/character names cannot contain any abusive language or vulgar words. The usage of account/character names that are offensive to any particular race or religion is strictly prohibited. Those engaging in such will have their accounts deleted. |

Usage of abusive language in the chat window or in the website forums is strictly prohibited. |
|
 |
Hacking or hijacking another player’s account would result in your account being penalized. |
|
 |
The usage of any sort of third-party software that benefits a character illegally is strictly prohibited. Players found to be doing so will be severely punished. Provision of any kind of information regarding said software either in the game or in the forum is not allowed.

Any bugs/errors encountered in the game must be reported to a game official immediately. Exploiting a bug is strictly prohibited and can invite an account ban. |

Players are cautioned not to reveal any account information to other players. The player is solely responsible for his/her own account information. We are not responsible for the misuse of such accounts. |

Players are encouraged to bring their queries and problems to us. However, any player making false claims to illegally benefit a character will be severely penalized. |
|
 |
Any sort of spam (excessive repeated sending of messages), will not be tolerated. Spamming in the public chat window or even with guides and GMs, is strictly not allowed. |

Any player that is discovered scamming (making false dealings/trading), will be severely punished.
|
|
 |
It is prohibited to impersonate a Game Master (GM) or a Guide. This includes having player names that contain the word ‘GM’ or ‘Guide’ and making statements representing them.

 |
 Players that make any modifications to the game client files provided will result in their account being penalized. |

Forum |
 |
You must possess an active Nostale global user account to access and use the forum. |
| |
|
 |
Only certain sections of the forum are open to guests or non-registered users. The rest of the sections will require you to be logged in to participate. |
| |
|
 |
User permissions such as reading, writing, replying to posts may vary between different sections of the forum. The moderators can and will change these rights as and when found necessary. |

 |
Moderators have the right to suspend your user account completely or partially for any amount of time as for any one of the following reasons.
a. Non-compliance with forum rules of conduct.
b. Non-compliance with game rules of conduct. |

We strongly advise against sharing of accounts. If any account is misused by the person you are sharing it with, you are still liable to be penalized for their actions. |

Impersonating another forum user, moderator, volunteer, administrator or Entwell employee is strictly prohibited. You are expressly forbidden from impersonating anyone else, including those named above, on the forum or in the game, even in jest. This may be grounds for permanent loss of your Nostale global account. |

 |
Be respectful of others at all times. The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting. |

 |
Ranting is strictly prohibited. A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. Though a free exchange of ideas is essential to community building and for the development of the game, rants are disruptive and at times incite flaming and trolling. |

Harassing other forum users in any manner is a serious offence and can lead to account suspension. This includes personal attacks on other users in the form of posts that demean, insult or cause explicit mental agony to any particular person who may or may not be a part of the Nostale community. |

Keep in-game disputes in the game and off the forum. Though we understand that conflicts may arise between players in-game we certainly don’t believe the forum is a place to settle those conflicts. Please understand that whatever conflicts that may rise within the game is due to your role playing character and hence must be limited within the same personality. These conflicts are best resolved online inside the game. |

Trolling is prohibited. Trolling is to make a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude. |

Spamming, bumping and pyramid quoting are prohibited. Spam is considered to be repetitive posting of the same topic or text or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts more frequently than once per day per thread in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited. Pyramid quoting is a response to a forum thread which contains the quotes of four or more previous posters. Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome. |

Redundant threads will be deleted. As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only. |

All posts must be about or related to Nostale global. Posts about other games or game companies, products or services not related to Nostale global are not permitted and can be deleted without prior notice. |

 |
You may not post advertisements. Posts discussing or linking to online auction sites or the sale of in-game goods or services for real money are strictly prohibited. |
| |

 |
Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following: The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned. |

Revealing personal information of yourself or others by any means whatsoever is strictly prohibited. Respect the privacy of your fellow community members. |

You are strictly prohibited from publicising any private communication you had with a Game Master, Moderator, Web Admin or any other Admin/Service personnel of the Nostale global service. This includes emails, forum messages, in-game chats and any other method of correspondence that you might have used to communicate with them. |
| |
|
 |
You are strictly prohibited to publicise or discuss petitions in the forum. All communication related to be strictly maintained between user and support personnel. |
